Sunsetting oneclickkill.net
For a long time, one[click]kill was home to an intense Instagib Rail server on Quake III Arena: raw reflexes, twitch aim, one shot, one frag.
“Released in 1999, Quake III Arena set the standard for pure deathmatch. It remains a benchmark in speed, precision, and chaos nearly three decades later.”
Running that community and building the dashboard was an incredible experience. As server traffic settled down and priorities shifted, the time came to sunset the server and archive the original site.
However, I always loved the clean, dark, high-contrast aesthetic we created for the dashboard—the dripping gothic typography, the translucent slate glass panels, and the minimalist link styling.
dirthaven.net is the continuation of that look in the form of a minimalist personal blog.
